05/21/04: Merger of Bulwien AG and gesa GmbH
Effective from March 5, 2004 the two companis Bulwien AG (Munich/ Berlin) and gesa GmbH (Hamburg) have merged to a joint company called BulwienGesa AG.
Both companies with more then 20 years of experience in real estate advisory show a symbiotic potential concering products and services they offer. Bulwien AG covered all types of real estate in their research work with a leading role in office sector consultancy and a growing residential sector, Whereas gesa GmbH will contribute their excellent reputation in retail consultancy for the German market.
BulwienGesa AG will employ 40 people from the start with equally sized offices in Munich, Hamburg and Berlin. The result is the biggest independent research and advisory company in Germany with emphasis in real estate, public sector and regional economies.
04/01/04: German-polish workshop on 17th of April in Szczecin
BTE Tourismusmanagement, Regionalentwicklung together with West Pomerania Tourism Forum organise a polish-german workshop (17.04.2004), which is taking place within the scope of XIII Market Tour in Szczecin (16.04. – 18.04.2004) – the biggest tourism event in West Pomerania. 03/31/04: Presentation of furniture concept of Mr Michael Schluder and Mr Sergej Nikoljski

The presentation takes place within the scope of the exhibition as well as the discussion about "Social Ergonomics".The family of the furniture Castillo or the table-chair-combination Stand-by-me are results of customs analysis. Castillo is neither just a bench nor just a sofa – it is a multifunctional and at the same time a representative furniture. Similar is the Stand-by-me, that suits especially for the communication rooms because of its unnormal hight.

01/22/04: Rödl & Partner opens a new office in the Ukraine
The first office will be established in the partnership town of Nürnberg – Charkiv. Furthermore the development of another office in the capital Kiew is planned for the beginning of the year. "The Ukraine develops slowly to a very interesting location for the german investors" said Jens Jungmann, who assambles the Ukraine-Business as a partner and office manager from Rödl & Partner Warsaw. "The most important location factors are: low salaries and high education of the population. For these reasons the Ukraine is very interesting, particularly for the production companies."
The partner is a well-known Ukrainian auditing and consulting company named Faktor, head-quartered in Charkiv. Faktor has offices in 29 locations in the Ukraine and publishes in the leading taxes consulting and accountancy magazines in the Ukraine.
01/07/04: Seminar of gesa GmbH and Bulwien AG the 2nd and 3th of February 2004
Due to the current discussion about the consequences of new shopping centres for the City as well as the growing importance of space consuming services for urban planning and market promotion, gesa GmbH and Bulwien AG are organising in co-operation with Chamber of Commerce in Hamburg and Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ulm a seminar for public professionals of german cities concerning their decisions in the everyday job life.
